If you’ve been a fan of this blog for a while, then you know that we cover a LOT of Kellie Wallace’s work. She’s a multi-genre author, who just happens to encompass all of our favorites. Her recent work, When Our World’s Collide, is a Dystopian tale with a nice Robin Hood arc (or at least that’s what we thought). Once you read about The Ravens, you’ll understand 😉
Amira’s peaceful city is taken over by a military regime, while it seems that the entire world is fighting in a bigger war. Resources are thin and in a bid to be a help to her family, Amira accepts a position within the regime. Amira finds herself torn between loyalty to her family and to her beliefs.
This story has good bones and the overall theme is good. The love story within it left me a teeny bit sour though. The fellas…
